Vengeance is a perfect case of “this band existed with virtually no documentation and it fucking rules.” This demo hardly seems to find its way into recollections of Oxnard past, overshadowed by Dr. Know, Stalag 13, Ill Repute, etc etc. In my opinion, Vengeance captures something I haven’t really heard in any of the other Nardcore bands above, which is probably why I can’t seem to put this tape down. From the gate this demo has a sound that is almost as explosive and energetic as the music itself; this thing sounds like a 4-track cassette only a few bounces away from being unintelligible. Maybe if more shitty local bands focused on being pissed-off weirdo freaks like Vengeance instead of managing their Instagram pages, the world would be a better place. If only. FFO bouncing around, pick slides (they are cool fuck you), bombing hills, FUCKING E.T!!!!!!!

As of the wee hours of this morning, outta-my-way.com is officially up and running. There’ll probably be some changes here and there as I figure stuff out but generally for now this is what the page is gonna look like.
Will be posting some stuff for you to listen to soon. Feel free to check out the gallery – gonna be adding more stuff as I go through some old pix. Expect some music reviews and a more thorough first post soon.
